Clive Farrugia was in top form this weekend when he won the MSG Skeet Selection Shoot organised by The Malta Shooting Sport Federation at the Bidnija ranges this weekend on 125 clays and a barrage finals of 25 clays.
Clive managed a remarkable score of 24, 24, 23, 24, 24 - 119/125 ISSF MQS and another 24/25 in the barrage finals for a total of 143/150.
This is considered as one of the best ever scores for Clive who will be taking part in the ISSF World Cup in Slovenia in the third week of July.
Darren Vella managed 114 ISSF MQS +23=137/150
Joe Muscat placed third with 112+22=134/150
Next Sunday, at The MSSF ranges in Bidnija, the Shoot and Win open Dritta competition will be organised for members and non members.
On 16 and 17 July The Malta Trap Grand Prix will be organised by MSSF.
On 24 July the second Malta International Double Trap Grand Prix will be organised with the participation of shooters from different countries.
Maltese shooters William Chetcuti and Nathan Lee Xuereb will be competing with top world class double Trap shooters.
