Rules Of wisdom

Malta Independent Saturday, 2 July 2011, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

I came across a leaflet published by the Divine Word Missionaries of Ireland, a catholic society which has 6,000 priests and brothers scattered all over the world.

I want to share with your readers their rules of wisdom.

1. There’s no key to happiness, the door is always open.

2. Laugh every day, it’s like inner jogging.

3. As a child of God, prayer is kind of like calling home every day on your mobile.

4. When you get tangled up in your problems, be still, God wants you to be still so that He can untangle the knot. Have faith in Him.

5. A grudge is a very heavy thing to carry.

6. We do not remember days, but moments, life is moving too fast, so enjoy your precious moments.

7. Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.

8. Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

9. You do the maths, count your blessings.

I hope that these rules help your readers live a better life.
