The administrative committee of the Our Lady of Lilies Musical Society of Mqabba would like to thank all those who worked incessantly to make the centenary feast of Our Lady of Lilies celebrated in Mqabba last month such a great success. Of special mention are Lily Fireworks MerlinFire Malta, the Decorations Section, the Youth and Women Section, Bandstand and Band Commission, Radio Commission, the Confraternity of the Immaculate Conception, and last but not least all members and supporters. The committee would like to express its gratitude to the clergy and police for their work.

A special ‘Thank You’ goes to the huge crowds of Maltese and foreigners who paid a visit to Mqabba to admire a complete traditional Maltese feast abounding with art and spectacular fireworks.

The Our Lady of Lilies Musical Society would like to express its satisfaction in view of the unique achievement following the firing of the largest Catherine Wheel in the World, which was entered in the Guinness Book of Records.
