I kindly urge people to continue to sign and re-share the petition that we have started following the Star incident so that Star’s ordeal and that of many other animals that have suffered over the years at the hands of abusers, will finally give way to the better protection and well being of all animals today and in the future.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my complete gratitude and appreciation to all those people from the general public in Malta, Gozo and around the world who have already signed and re-shared this petition. Without your help it would not have been such a success.
Once again, I thank the (former) Assistant Commissioner of Police Josie Brincat for supporting this cause, Sliema Police Station and all policemen who led the march in a pleasant manner, Minister George Pullicino, MPs Evarist Bartolo, Owen Bonnici, Anthony Agius Decelis and Silvio Parnis and Dr Chris Fearnne and Mr John Bencini of the MUT, President of 'Forum Unions Maltin'.
I thank Anabelle Karaquilian who supported this cause from France and who attended the protest and I also thank the Brigitte Bardot Foundation for their support.
Thanks to Mr Carmel Agius who did massive coverage on the CNN iReport, to all Foreign Journalsits, the Red Cross for providing the ambulance on the day, animal organisations and all the members of the general public who attended the Silent Protest with their dogs and not forgetting the rabbits too, who all supported this very worthy Star cause.
Without your attendance it would not have been such a success.
I would like to thank Mr. Leo Brincat for his parliamentary question on Tuesday 21 June regarding Animal Cruelty Laws.
Never in the world’s history has change happened without the power and support of the people. One can do so little but together we can do so much.
