Malta Independent Wednesday, 6 July 2011, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

With the HSBC Yes 4 Students package, students may obtain financial assistance at any point during their student life, no matter how great their financial ambition. The package benefits include higher interest rates on savings, a free Yes 4 International Debit card, a free credit card, free Internet Banking, as well as a choice of free gifts.

International mobility of students is on the rise, with young people on the move either to enhance their academic knowledge or to go on holiday to widen their horizons. The introduction of the Yes 4 International Debit Card allows students to concentrate on living their dreams while HSBC takes care of the rest. The Yes 4 International debit card includes an unmatchable free cash withdrawal at any HSBC ATM around the world.

This year students are encouraged to open their HSBC Student Account through an easy to use online application on www.hsbc.com.mt/1/2/yes4. Those who apply online will be given free Eden Cinemas tickets.

Between 1 July and 31 October 2011 students opening an HSBC Student Account can choose a free gift from Scan Computers ranging from a 250GB External USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive, an HP inkjet printer, or Sennheiser headphones. A 640GB External Hard drive or a Fuji digital camera are available at a charge of only €25. A 23” Acer LED Full HD TV, which can be used as a monitor, is available for €150.

Alternatively students may choose a free gift from Vodafone. These gifts include a free internet key inclusive of connection and two months of free data (3GB every month), or three months of free calls and SMS to all Vodafone local numbers and 2GB of internet on their mobile(every month for 3 months). Otherwise, students can opt for a €50 discount from a selection of Android Smartphones.
