Defender Shaun Tellus and striker Josef Dalli joined Vittoriosa Stars.

Defender Shaun Tellus joins Vittoriosa from Dingli Swallows. Tellus was on loan with Dingli and was outstanding in the Swallows’ defence.

Striker Josef Dalli joins the Stars from neighbours and Cottonera rivals St. George’s.

Both players are expected to give a boost to Vittoriosa who are aiming to make a quick return to the Premier League after a rather unlucky season amongst the elite.

Like the Premier League, the First Division League will be composed of twelve sides next season.

Vittoriosa Stars, together with newcomers Zejtun Corinthians are expected to be among the front runners.

Rabat Ajax, Naxxar Lions, and St. Patrick are also making a comeback.
