The Floriana FC contingent is in Cyprus in preparation for the UEFA Europa League match to be played tomorrow.
The contingent is made up of 29 people and arrived on Monday on a direct flight from Malta to Larnaca.
The contingent is headed by vice president Julian Holland with president Johann Said travelling to Cyprus later on in the week.
After the apology by the club over last week’s humiliating 8-0 defeat at home, the club is aware that it stands no chance of moving ahead in the competition, but has promised to work relentlessly and do everything within its powers to prepare in the best way possible for the forthcoming season.
The players called up for this match are:
Goalkeepers: Matthew Towns, Jurgen Borg.
Defenders: Manolito Micallef, Tyrone Farrugia, Owen Bugeja, Duncan Pisani, Brooke Farrugia.
Midfielders: Thomas Paris, Pablo Doffo, Joseph Borg, Clyde Borg, Christian Cassar.
Strikers: Ivan Woods, Ryan Darmanin, Christian Caruana.
The technical staff made up of coach Michael Woods, assistant coach Frank Schembri, goalkeepers coach Roger Camilleri, team manager Joe Abela, club doctor George Grech, physio Andrew Cole and kit manager Neville Spiteri.
