Maltese international referee Bernard Vassallo ended his commitments in Serbia where the European Women U-20 A competition was held between 7 and 17July.

Vassallo’s last appointment was the prestigious bronze medal match between Poland and Serbia.

In all Vassallo officiated in nine matches, as follows:

Italy v France, Great Britain v Latvia, Belarus v Italy, Latvia v France, Latvia v Netherlands, Spain v France, Serbia v Italy, Netherlands v Turkey, Poland v Serbia.

These games followed closely, just a few days after, the Eurobasket Women A championships, where Vassallo was also chosen to officiate. He was in charge of six top level matches in this competition.
