San Giljan Giuseppe’s won their second match of the International Waterpolo Tournament they are hosting.

Yesterday they defeated Valletta Dhalia 15-8, winning the third session 3-0 and the final session 4-0 after drawing the first two sessions 4-4. Kurt Galea scored five goals for the hosts.

San Giljan now lead the standings with four points.

Also on Day 2, Lerici Sport beat Marco Risso School 11-8, with Foti and Buffardi scoring four and three goals respectively.

Lerici Sport have two points, same as Valletta Dhalia after winning one of two matches.

Marco Risso School remain bottom of the table without a win.

The Tournament comes to an end today with teh following matches:

Valletta Dhalia vs. LERICI Sport (Italy) at 6.30 pm and San Giljan Giuseppe’s vs. Marco Risso School at 7.45 pm

A presentation and reception willfollow at 9pm.

All participating players, club delegates, officials and members of the press are invited to attend. ASA officials shall be in attendance.
