The Women’s U-16 national team will be in Andorra between 25 and 30 July for the FIBA Europe European Championships Division C.
The preparations for this tournament started months ago however the training got harder in the last days under the guidance of Maltese national coach Sandro Farrugia. Various training camps were organised as part of the training for this competition.
In this championship Malta will be playing in Group A together with Wales and organisers Andorra. Cyprus, Monaco and Gibraltar will be competing in Group B.
Malta will start with the first game on Monday against hosts Andorra.

Malta’s second game will be played on Tuesday against Wales. The qualifying games will be played on Thursday and Friday with the finals scheduled for Saturday. The Maltese contingent will be accompanied by MBA general secretary Joseph Muscat.
