Birkirkara FC have brought over two new foreigners – a central defender and a striker – after releasing the three foreigners who had also played for them against Vllaznia of Albania in the Europa League.

The newcomers were expected to make their debut for the Stripes during a friendly match yesterday evening against Marsaxlokk.

Fourth Brazilian for Hibs

Paola club Hibernians will probably have an all-Brazilian foreign line-up this season, after signing a fourth player on Thursday.

He is midfielder Rodolfo dos Santos Soares and joins defender Diego Douglas Balbinot and strikers Marcelo Mariano Dias and Edison Luis Dos Santos who had been signed earlier.
