APS Bank in collaboration with the Malta Photographic Society is organising its second photography competition, on the theme ‘Green’. Entries to this thought-provoking competition are required to include a Maltese touch and participants are challenged to capture this broad subject from their own unique perspective; whether the colour in itself or any of the various connotations that the word has. Winning submissions will be determined mainly on the basis of the author’s creativity and the work’s composition.

The closing date for submissions is 6 August, when all entries will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges, co-ordinated by the Malta Photographic Society. Cash prizes will be awarded to the three leading photographers with consolation prizes distributed to the next 37. The selected entries may be featured in the bank’s annual calendar, promotional material or other publications.
