The ever popular android HTC family has continued to grow and the latest three mobile gadgets on the market- the HTC ChaCha, HTC Flyer and HTC Sensation are now available at all Vodafone stores. With different features and price tags consumers can choose a phone to suit their needs from the HTC range, with the help of Vodafone’s expertise.
HTC ChaCha –
the Facebook phone
HTC has realised that for some status updates are far more important than actual phone calls – hence the birth of the HTC ChaCha. The smartphone comes with a touchscreen display complemented by a QWERTY keyboard, ideal for fast typing. High tech characteristics include a downladable calendar widget and a facebook chat widget. What makes the HTC ChaCha unique is a dedicated Facebook key, a key which shares just about anything with just one touch. The HTC ChaCha has a 5 megapixel camera at the back with support for video recording, 3G connectivity capabilities, WiFi and Bluetooth and a built-in GPS reciever. It runs on the latest Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The HTC ChaCha is available from Vodafone for €299 or for free with Vodafone’s Smartphone 50 plan.
HTC Flyer – the sleek tablet with a magic pen
The HTC Flyer, available for €699 from Vodafone is a sleek portable 7-inch tablet with a magic pen that transforms any situation - from creating masterpieces with a stroke of a paintbrush, to taking multimedia notes or even signing digital documents.
The seven-inch touch screen tablet is powered with HTC Sense, a graphical user interface and it combines natural touch and pen interaction. The HTC Flyer has a 1.5GHz processor for superfast browsing and seamless multitasking. It features a strong aluminum case that is lighter than an average paperback book. What makes the HTC Flyer different from the rest is its integration of the acclaimed HTC Sense experience and the unique HTC Scribe technology.
The new HTC Sense experience allows users to easily scroll and locate photos, entertainment, weather, calendar and mail. An optional HTC Scribe digital pen unlocks HTC Scribe technology, which enables the user to capture and write on any on-screen content with notes and drawings. Timemark - handwritten notes taken with the digital pen - is synchronized with audio while the popular Evernote application turns handwritten notes into true meeting minutes. Additionally, with front and rear cameras, live video calls can be made using a variety of available video chat applications available in the Android Market.
HTC Sensation – the multimedia superphone
The HTC Sensation is available from Vodafone for €599 or for free with Vodafone’s Smartphone 95 plan. It is a multimedia superphone which includes an immersive HTC Sense experience making the phone easy to use and a top entertainer.
With its premium design, complete with contoured glass edging it gives its user a richer internet experience with multi window browsing, a quick look up tool and the latest Flash support for smooth video playback. With an instant capture camera, the moment the button is pressed is the same moment the photo is captured. The HTC Sensation has an active lockscreen which gives essential shortcuts without unlocking the device. It has been transformed into a window to the good stuff on the phone – check a portfolio, view friend’s status and more. The HTC Sensation is unique with a richer movie watching experience and music listening experience with virtual surround sound.
