Among the players that were engaged there is Nigerian striker Uchenna Anyanwu who was one of the foreigners that gave Balzan Youths their promotion to the Premier Division last season.
Other players such as Lee Cumbo (ex Msida), Antonio Saliba (Lija Atlethic), Mark Brincat (ex Mosta), David Agius (ex Balzan), Nathan Caruana (ex St George’s), Chris Ciappara (ex Dingli), James Mercieca (ex Gharghur) were all newly signed along with two other players, that is, Jeremy Agius and Joseph Mercieca, who have renewed their contract with the club.
