Intercomp is now the proud employer of 27 staff members who have just acquired the City & Guilds Award in Customer Service having completed a course with MISCO Consulting.

Misco started delivering the City & Guilds Award in Customer Service programme since last September registering a 100% pass rate, with 98% of participants receiving the highest achievement of ‘First Class Pass’.

The Awards in Customer Service are designed to provide participants with the skills required to deliver efficient and reliable customer service. Throughout the course, participants gain an understanding of customer expectations and needs and are able to deal effectively with customer requests.

The course, delivered over a 15 hour programme is a flexible one that Misco designs round the client’s specific requirements and schedule. Intercomp’s employees in fact attended 2 evening sessions a week between 5.30pm and 7pm showing a very high level of commitment after a full working day. During the training, Intercomp staff worked on developing their skills to listen, help and meet the needs of their customers and enhance the customers’ experience of their services and products.

Stephen Falzon, Director of Technical Services from Intercomp said: “Achieving this award in customer service is an important development for our organisation. It has really boosted the confidence of our employees and provided them with the skills to become more effective in their jobs, which is particularly important in these difficult times when good customer service is vital. We definitely feel more focused and hope to build on our newly acquired skills in the workplace.”

Morgan Parnis Business Development Director of MISCO Consulting said: “By investing in customer service training, organisations can ensure that their employees are confident in their abilities and able to support a customer-focussed culture which means that the organisation is able to respond quickly and flexibly to individual customer needs.”
