McDonald’s is organizing five free Zumba classes at their Bugibba Restaurant. Directed by the energetic Maria & Pedro, these Zumba classes offer a mix of unique Latin moves and rhythms to complete a total body workout while having a lot of fun.

These classes are set to kick off on 11 August followed by classes on 18 and 25 August and 1 and 8 September. These classes which are offered free of charge will commence at 7.30pm though McDonald’s is encouraging anyone interested to be there slightly before as no bookings are being taken. They have also advised attendees to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

These Zumba classes are being organised as part of McDonald’s Malta ongoing corporate social responsibility initiatives. The main aim behind such projects is to encourage the community to pursue an active lifestyle through different type of sports.

“McDonald’s has always stayed close to its customers and to what is important to them. Our sports involvement is no exception. McDonald’s focus on sports, is a result of our own values, universality, and team spirit,” said Natasha Giorgio, marketing manager of McDonald’s Malta

McDonald’s has always played a major role in the participation and promotion of such events and in recent years have sponsored a vast number of sports related activities such as the McDonald Football Skills Test, the Gozo football Summer school, as well as being the main sponsors for Sliema ASC waterpolo team, Depiro Girls Basketball team and Birkirkara FC.
