The blue lagoon in Comino is just beautiful. Coming from a landlocked country, where all we can do is swim in a lake in summer, the experience of swimming in the cold turquoise waters is something we will never forget.
But, equally, we cannot forget the chaos which reigns in Comino. In particular, we cannot forget the horrific food and the astronomical prices we paid for it. A soggy burger with stale chips was selling at €5.50. The authorities will not act on this. But I have an ace up my sleeve. One in our party bought a packet of cigarettes (normally about €4) for €5.50. Surely, this is against the law and a crime against the tax payer. Surely this will be investigated.
