This competition is being organised in collaboration between The Malta Shooting Sport Federation and FITAV.

Wayne Micallef placed second with 74/75 and 24/25 for 98/100. Italian Ivan Rossi placed third with 74/75 and 24/25 for 98/100; George Mifsud placed fourth with 74+22=96/100 and Saviour Borg placed fifth with 75+21=96/100, while Emmanuel Grima placed sixth with 73+21=94/100
The Maltese shooters were assisted by MSSF coach Jimmy Bugeja and MSSF secretary general Dr Carmel Cascun. The event attracted the interest of a number of newcomers to shooting sport and was an opportunity for them to compete on foreign ranges.
The selection of the Maltese shooters was an initiatve of the MSSF, the Southern Shooting Club and the Qormi Shooting Club. This also served to encourage cooperation between MSSF and FITAV in future events.
