Floriana FC yesterday issued a statement informing the media that they will be suspending their goalkeeper William Amamoo after the new player was deemed to be in breach of the contract that he signed with Floriana FC.

This, after in the moments leading to the Super Cup match against Valletta, Amamoo informed the coach Michael Woods that he did not want to take part in the match.

Therefore the Floriana committee is suspending William Amamoo for the maximum period as permitted by Malta Football Association rules.
