Malta Independent Saturday, 20 August 2011, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

HSBC assists students’ progression into higher and tertiary education through its Yes 4 Students package, with benefits that include higher interest rates on savings, a free Yes 4 International Debit card, a free credit card, free internet banking, as well as a choice of free gifts.

Recently HSBC staff mingled with MCAST students and explained the benefits of having a Yes 4 Student account. As part of the service of school visits during admissions, HSBC staff will also be present at Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary School and at the Institute of Tourism Studies. Students may open their Yes 4 Student account during admissions, or by visiting one of our branches or through the HSBC website www.hsbc.com.mt/1/2/yes4. Those who apply online will be given free Eden Cinemas tickets.

Until 31 October 2011 students opening an HSBC Student Account can also choose a free gift from Scan Computers ranging from a 250GB External USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive, an HP inkjet printer, or Sennheiser headphones. A 640GB External Hard drive or a Fuji digital camera are available at a charge of only €25. A 23” Acer LED Full HD TV, which can be used as a monitor, is available for €150.

Alternatively students may choose a free gift from Vodafone. These gifts include a free internet key inclusive of connection and two months of free data (3GB every month), or three months of free calls and SMS to all Vodafone local numbers and 2GB of internet on their mobile (every month for 3 months). Otherwise, students can opt for a €50 discount from a selection of Android Smartphones.

More information about HSBC’s Yes 4 Students packages can be obtained by calling Customer Service on 2380 2380, by logging on to www.hsbc.com.mt or from any HSBC branch in Malta and Gozo.
