The police are calling for assistance from the public in connection with television station reports on Thursday evening that a person was allegedly hit by a speedboat in the Sliema area.

The police apparently have no information about the incident. They are asking hotels, guesthouses, aparthotels and other accommodation places where visitors may be staying to report to them if someone has not returned after going out.
