(4-2)(3-6)(4-3)(3-5)
Marsascala lost their unbeaten status in the second round of play, but they were already sure of the top spot in the standings. Otters ended their commitments, in the second tier of play, with a second victory, this time against the league leaders.
The Gozitans were two goals behind after the opening period but they recovered strongly and, by the interval, they had acquired a slight 8-6 advantage. Both sides were then level, at 11-11, when the last session started. Otters were never behind in this session, and they obtained a good lead, late in the match, as Marsascala were caught on fast counter attacks.
The league leaders had Milos Koralji with a poker of goals, but faltered in their man ups. They scored on three occasions, in seven extra player situations. On the other hand Otters were perfect in their conclusions, scoring in all of their seven man-ups. Mate Balatoni obtained a nap hand of goals for them
