Neptunes Emirates 20

Sirens Ritter Sports 7

(3-2)(7-2)(4-1)(6-2)

It was another day at the office for the champions, who seem to relish their games against Sirens, As if that was not enough Sirens had their goalie, Joseph Sammut, still injured from their last match and young Nicky Grixti had to take his place.

Neptunes peppered the Sirens goal throughout the game, and from the second period onwards they were continually extending their advantage.

There was no respite for the St.Pauls Bay side, who were 4-10 behind at the halfway stage of the encounter. The champions’ top marksmen lined up, to hike their personal tally upwards, as Sirens fell foul to Neptunes’ superiority for the sixth time.

The champions had five man ups to their advantage, in which they scored twice. Tamas Molnar bagged a handful of golas, with Steve Camilleri and Vladimir Gojkovic scoring a poker apiece.

Sirens managed to find the net twice from their four numerical advantages, and it was Goran Krstonosic their best scorer, with a brace of strikes.
