During the last referendum the people showed that they are mature and can decide for themselves.
However, we very rarely have referenda. Referenda should be made cheaper to operate; it would be a good idea if maybe we use the phone instead of paper.
The masses have been cheated time and time again. They have risen in revolt countless times only to replace one despot with another.
It is high time to stop voting for a person when one can vote for an idea.
Members of Parliament should be there to see to everyday business. Real business should be decided by referenda.
