Yesterday morning’s session saw the local speedster Diane Borg again in action after having qualified from the Preliminary rounds of the 100m.

She ran in the 5th of the 7 scheduled 100m heats with the most notable name in her heat being Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica. Diane's time of 12.22sec (+0.9m/s) improved on her Preliminary Round time of 12.29sec placing her 6th in her heat and 43 overall from a total of 73 participants.
