The Ladies’ Running Club (LRC) will be holding its annual 10K road race on Friday, September 16th. The race, in its 21st edition, will start at 6pm from near the Mdina Glass Factory in Ta’ Qali. Mdina Glass is once again the main sponsor of the race.

The route is unchanged from last year, following Mdina Road down to Attard, passing St. Catherine’s Hospital and returning to Mdina Glass through Ta’Qali.

Prizes and trophies will be awarded to the first three finishers in both the men’s and women’s races. The first LRC member to cross the finishing line will be presented with the “Lina Borg Costanzi“ award. Winners in all categories over 35 years of age, will also be rewarded.

This year, a percentage of the race proceeds will be donated to “Dar Merhba Bik”.

A 6.4k walk is also being organised in conjunction with the Race. Start time will be at 6.10pm, just after the race begins. One can sign up for the walk on race day, up to 5.45pm.
