The self-proclaimed colonel and leader of Libya, a bombastic and boastful figure, sensing the inevitable end, refuses to face his people and submit himself to martyrdom as he vowed.
He is now like a panicky rat trying to creep and run away through an endless maze of underground tunnels.
These escape routes were dug on his orders at the people’s expense in anticipation of a foreseeable ignominious end to his absolute rule. He had everything accurately planned to save his own skin and that of his loyal inner circle.
He obviously lacks the courage to stand up and face either his end or justice for his abominable cruelty and terror.
May the Libyan nation unite, irrespective of allegiance and belief. Highly commendable is the intention of the international community to bring him to justice and exact adequate punishment as a deterrent to future errant and despicable governance anywhere in the world.
