The winners of the HSBC Yes 4 Students Competition gathered at 89.7 Bay Studios to collect their much sought-after prizes: Acer 7-inch tablet computers, donated by ScanMalta.
The four winners, Kevin Attard, Chantel Borg, Daryl Zammit and Fabrizia Zarb, were among the 200 participants in the competition, which was promoted on Bay Radio’s breakfast show throughout August.
To enter the competition, students had to log on to www.hsbc.com.mt, click on the competition banner and attempt to answer three quick questions. One of the questions asked participants to name one of the benefits offered by HSBC’s Yes 4 Students 16+ package. The diverse answers included references to the higher interest rates on savings, the free Yes 4 international debit card, free internet banking and free mobile banking. HSBC Head of Marketing Brian Tortell referred to the competition as an important part of the extremely successful Yes 4 Students Campaign for this year.
Victor Formosa, 89.7 Bay’s Station Manager, said: “The station was glad to be running this competition in conjunction with HSBC because we are sure that, since we have the largest and widest audience in Malta and Gozo, we can deliver.”
HSBC staff will be at the University’s Freshers’ Week to help students with their financial requirements. More information about HSBC’s Yes 4 Students packages can be obtained from www.hsbc.com.mt, Customer Service on 2380 2380 or any HSBC branch.
