Paul Zammit signed again with Birkirkara yesterday only four months after the stripes’ choice not to renew his contract and replace him with Valletta born Patrick Curmi.
Curmi’s two-year contract was terminated last week by mutual consent after Birkirkara’s poor start and now it is Zammit’s quest to give Birkirkara a new identity and drive to return to the top.
Zammit had spent two years with the club - after a four year spell with Valletta – joining in 2009 where he managed to lead the stripes to the Premier League title in his first year.
