The football programmes on the local main television stations are back on screen once again.
Kontrattakk starts its transmissions today. Replay on Net TV got under way last week, while Kontrattakk on TVM is scheduled to start today. L-Argument on One TV is also back, starting from today.
Sandro Micallef will host Kontrattakk on TVM – a show which will be giving an extensive analysis and coverage of the BOV premier League 2011/12.
The programme will also feature other sports disciplines, involving the participation of national teams and local athletes in the international scenario. The programme is produced by Peter Cossai and Sandro Micallef.
Today’s first programme will include an analysis and a discussion about the last two games of the Malta national team against Latvia and Israel respectively. The show will include live links with players and officials from the Grand Excelsior Hotel, the base of the squad prior to the home game against Israel.
Replay, co-hosted by Christian Micallef, Matthew Paris and Sarah Agius as well as executive producer George Micallef, will be including direct links from the Grand Hotel Excelsior, where the national team is accommodated in view of the last qualifier against Israel next Tuesday at Ta’ Qali.
New Birkirkara FC mentor Paul Zammit will be one of the guests in today’s programme which is to be screened at 9.35pm on Net TV.
L-Argument is to be screened on One TV every Sunday, immediately after the 5.30pm news programme.
The programme, today will focus on the national teams’ matches, but during the year, it will focus primarily on local football with the main emphasis on the Premier League. Today’s guests will be former coach Paul Farrugia and former Hamrun player Antvin Monsiegneur.
The programme, which will see the return of Mark Cutajar as executive producer, is also hosted by Pamela Schembri and Clinton Buhagiar.
