National Under 21 coach Ray ‘Zazu’ Farrugia is hoping for a double against Lithuania when the two teams meet again at the Gozo Stadium this afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

In the first match in Lithuania, Malta ran out winners 2-1. It was the second of three positive results – the others were the draws against Finland and The Ukraine.

After the exciting 2-2 draw against The Ukraine last Friday, Farrugia and his boys are full of enthusiasm. They now look forward with optimism as they face this afternoon’s match with great confidence.

Farrugia will certainly have to reshuffle his team for today’s encounter as he misses Yessous Camilleri and Miguel Ciantar. Both are suspended after receiving a second yellow card last Friday.

He has now called Jonathan Xerri of Marsaxlokk and Sheldon Grech of Mosta as replacements. Farrugia has also added a third goalkeeper – Adrian Parnis of Sannat Lions.
