The state of the pavements in Mrabat Street is shocking. One literally has to keep an eye out to make sure they are not killed by traffic, while at the same time making sure that they are not going to walk into a hole. It is difficult enough for an able-bodied person, but what about the older people. They cannot dodge potholes, caved in concrete casings and broken pipes. Having said that, neither should an able-bodied person have to. It’s just not on and the council or the central government should do something about it before someone gets really hurt.
