The United States will play France in a friendly at the Stade de France on 11 November, the first meeting between the nations in 32 years.
In the dugouts, the match will bring together two former players who helped their countries win the World Cup in new US coach Jurgen Klinsmann of Germany and France’s Laurent Blanc.
The nations played twice in 1979, with France winning 6-0 at East Rutherford, New Jersey, on 2 May and 3-0 in Paris on 10 October.
