A photographic exhibition ‘Malta: A story of sea and stone’, showing pictures taken by Joe Demanuele, was inaugurated last Friday at Vlaamse Gemeenschapshap, a Flemish cultural centre in Sint-Pieters-Woluwe, one of the richest districts of Brussels.
This is the first time that Malta has organised an exhibition in collaboration with this centre. The exhibition was inaugurated by Carla Dejonghe, president of the Assembly of the Flemish Community Commission and Deputy Mayor of Sint-Pieters-Woluwe, Didier Coomans, chairman of GC Kontact and Pierre Clive Agius, Ambassador of Malta to Belgium.
All the photographs are of Maltese and Gozitan landscapes. The exhibition, which runs till 30 October, will also be touring other cities, including Ghent and Antwerp.
