Siggiewi followed up their win over Athleta with a handsome victory over Loyola who were making their first seasonal appearance.
Loyola were tight at the back at first but Siggiewi gradually began to take the upper hand and finished up as comfortable winners to make sure of a first place in their group and a semifinal position.
Siggiewi recovered Eman Xuereb but both Clement Kadomaris and Jide Jetson were missing. Loyola played most of the players from last season with the missing one being Alex Tabone. Clint Cassar returned after a long absence.
Siggiewi made the better opening going into a 6-2 advantage.
Points from Jovan Mihailovic had Loyola just a point behind but Siggiewi had Peter Shoults going back on court to galvanise his side with his play and points. His last two free shots put Siggiewi on a five point lead.
In the second period Siggiewi went into a double figure advantage only for Loyola to start clicking and cut down on their deficit.
Eman Xuereb netted a Siggiewi trey as his side began a 7-2 run. Siggiewi held on to their advantage till the interval on a 29-17 score.
Points were plentiful after the break. Loyola started to creep back but then were hit by a 9-0 Siggiewi run started with a Marco Matijevic triple.
Loyola managed to share the play for some time but in a late burst Siggiewi made up a 10-2 run to enjoy a 56-30 lead at the start of the final session.
Loyola had their triples two from David Camilleri and another from Billy Zammit although Siggiewi still had a substantial advantage.
An 8-2 run solved the issue for them with points still flowing in at both ends with the game ending with a second Zammit trey.
