The Pharmacy of Your Choice scheme was an excellent initiative taken by the Ministry of Health. However, during the last five months, a serious problem has arisen. Some medicines are unavailable, not even against payment. Obviously, for a good number of people this is a matter of life and death.

The responsibility rests squarely on the minister’s shoulders.

Dr Joe Cassar has the tools to right this sorry state of affairs and I appeal to him to give top priority to this urgent matter.
