The Malta Library and Information Association (MaLIA), formerly the Għaqda Bibljotekarji, is in the process of updating its publication ‘Directory of Libraries and Information Units in Malta’. The main scope of the directory is to inform the general public about libraries, archives and collections in Malta and Gozo that are available to the public even if private and by appointment only.

Since the first edition, there have been many changes in the Libraries, Archives and Information sector in Malta. The new directory will provide an updated list of these libraries and information units reflecting new units and the closure of some others.  The directory would help to facilitate the location and sharing of information.

The listing in the directory is free of charge. Information about MaLIA can be found on our website www.malia-malta.org.
