Simon Chetcuti, 4th dan black belt who is the owner and instructor of the club The Art of Fighting Kickboxing, together with his students, will be taking part in a tournament in kickboxing and Muay Thai Boxing to be held in Sicily on 5 and 6 November.

Chetcuti trained his students with strict discipline for the last three months.

The Championship, several countries will be represented, is organised by the WMKF federation (world martial kombat federation).

This will include different styles of martial arts such as: Dan kickboxing, muay thai, mma, Kung fu, ju jitsu, karate and others.

The Maltese team will be taking part in the kickboxing and muay thai events where they will be fighting full contact.

The Maltese kickboxers Joseph Mark Bonello, Renalt Hayman, Alfred Bonnici and the Maltese boxer Dione Galea.

In the Muay Thai event there will be Brandon Borg who has won many titles in kickboxing, boxing and k1.

Simon Chetcuti thanked everyone who have given their help and support for these fighters and thanked the students and Dione Boxing club for their hard work.
