Cars driving through Qui-Si-Sana tunnel can now gain direct entry to Tigné Point. For the convenience of visitors and shoppers, drivers can now directly access the multi-storey car park without having to go all the way round to Tigné.
“The Qui-Si-Sana tunnel access for vehicles has eased the traffic flow on the Strand side,” said Midi plc CEO Ben Muscat. “The tunnel route to the project from Qui-Si-Sana now makes it much more convenient for drivers to directly access The Point and Pjazza Tigné.”
The new slip road is part of the multimillion underground development at Tigné Point – a project that includes distributor roads, plant rooms, delivery bays and Sliema’s largest car park. It also accommodates the recently commissioned state-of-the-art heating and cooling energy production plant constructed and managed by Solutions and Infrastructure Services Ltd, a joint venture between Midi plc and Siemens SpA.
