In the weekend of mid-October, the Tigers hosted an Italian team, Cosmos Softball, as well as, a softball umpire and an Italian player, Emanuela Iosco, who plays for the Taranto Softball team.
Unfortunately for the Tigers, the games didn’t go as planned due to bad weather conditions; however, they tried to find the best solution. A friendly game was played indoors with some limitations. After the game, the teams took a small break and training sessions were held for players concerning their individual role on the field.
Furthermore, for the third time in Malta, in the first week of December the club will host three Italian teams - Milano Softball, Saronno Softball and Sharks Cernusco.
The club seeks to play as many games as possible as the teams have different arrival and departure dates.
An official softball umpire, Francesco Napolitano will also be here. The aim of these events are to promote the Softball games in Malta, therefore, if anyone is interested they can join the Tigers.
