The You Shop We Ship First Division player of the month for October was won by A to Z Electronics Athleta player Omar Said.

For Said, this was his sixth success in the player of the month award having succeeded in five other occasions always with the Athleta gear.

In October Athleta won the Super Cup in the season opener and also the firsst edition of the Gozo Cup. Said contributed to these results by scoring 52 points including 10 three pointers ending as the men’s best three point shooter for October. Omar also featured an average of 7.33 rebounds, 2.33 steals and three assists per game. He was presented this award by Martin Ferry, on behalf of You Shop We Ship.
