Last week it was a busy week for three Juventus Soccer School Malta young players as they had the opportunity to visit Padova for a trial with the Padova F.C. Settore Giovanile (youth sector).

Jamie Gauci, Neil Micallef and Ivan Vesejli from the Juventus Soccer School Malta, players of Lija/Iklin, Birkirkara and Luxol respectively, were selected for this trial by the Padova F.C. technical director youth sector Giorgio Molon. Padova F.C. selected these children thanks to their international observers which where present in the last edition of the Juventus National Academy Cup which was held last May in Turin.

Jamie Gauci, Ivan Vesejli both born 2000, and Neil Micallef born 1999, experienced three days of intensive training with their respective groups. On Tuesday the Padova F.C. organized a friendly match to continue assessing these three Maltese players further. The match was played against Montichairello F.C. in Brescia where the Padova F.C. team won 7-1.

In this match Jamie Gauci scored a brace but at the end, the most important achievement was that our boys had left a good impression in the game and especially with the Padova F.C. coaches. According to Molon there will be more opportunities for these boys to attend other Padova F.C. events in the near future.

Meanwhile in the coming weeks the Juventus Soccer School Malta Technical Director Charles Borg had been invited to visit the Padova F.C. 8th Football Clinic for coaches of the youth sector of the club.

The Juventus Soccer School Malta expressed its gratitude once again to the respective nurseries for giving the permission to these young boys to live such an unforgettable experience with a foreign club.

Juventus Soccer School Malta is currently receiving applications from children willing to enrol with the Juventus Soccer School.

Training sessions are being held at the Marsaxlokk FC pitch every Tuesday from 5.30pm till 7pm and every Fridays at Pembroke Athleta Pitch from 5.45pm till 7.15pm.
