It happens every year. Every time it rains, the road surfaces come to bits. Pieces and chunks literally come up and get carried downstream. One can understand having punctures in such weather because you cannot see a kerb under the water and hit it. But to get a puncture by driving straight into a pothole, or hitting a chunk of loose road surface is just beyond belief in 2011.
