AS Hibernians Basketball Club yesterday presented theirnew foreign player Lena Gipson from US.Gipson, who has just finished her College studies, is 23 years old and hopes to give the Paola club a valid contribution.

Italian coach Bruno Di Pietrantonio, formerly the Ladies team national coach, was also engaged by AS Hibernians where he is working hard in the club’s youth sector.

Di Peitrantonio, who will be in charge of the senior Ladies team, praised AS Hibernians’ solid structure, very good facilities and above all dedicated coaches during yesterday’s media presentation.

The club announced that during the coming Christmas period, AS Hibernians will be sending four young players, Simon Attard, Ryan Carabott, Kurt Cassar and Kieron Caruana on a trial with Italian club Benetton Treviso.
