The Euro U-17 and U-19 championships 2012-13 draws were made in Nyon with the Malta U-17’s hosting the matches in Group 9 which comprises Norway, Portugal and Iceland and the U-19 team drawn in Group 3 where they will come up against Poland, the Netherlands and host country San Marino.
In the junior category the 52 teams will be divided into 13 preliminary groups from which the two first placed teams in each group plus the two third placed teams with the best record against the leading pair will proceed to the next stage.
Eventually the top team in each of the seven groups of four teams each will join hosts Slovakia in the final tournament.
In the U-19 qualifying round there will be 12 groups of four teams each with the top two plus the best third-place team joining the three teams with the best coefficient, Spain, Serbia and Turkey, who were given a bye.
The 28 qualifiers for the elite round will be split into seven groups with the winner of each group proceeding to the final tournament together with host country Lithuania.
Matches for the U-17 will be played between 29 September and 4 October 2012, while those for the Under-19 are scheduled between 9 and 14 October.
