Nazzareno Attard won the Individual Event of The Malta-Italy Trap Challenge 2011 organised by The Malta Shooting Sport Federation in collaboration with FITAV last weekend at the Bidnija shooting ranges.

The final result was determined after a spectacular barrage final on flash targets that both Attard and Pace entered with an equal score of 116/125.

Attard placed 1st with 136, while Pace was second on 135. Third was Jeffrey Pisani, fourth Giovanni Cembolo, fifth Alessandro di San Giacomo and sixth James Galea.

The Malta-Itay Trap Challenge 2011 trophy went to the Malta Trap team after a separate barrage final. Frans Pace managed 24/24, Nazzareno Attard 21/25 and Jeffery Pisani 20/25 for a total of 65/75.

The Italy team scored as follows: Alessandro Di San Giacomo 23/25, Giovanni Cembolo 22/25 and Carlo Petrucci 19/25 for a total of 64/75.

The Malta-Italy Challege Cup was sponsored by Valle Aniene Shooting Club and the trophies were sponsored by Fieldsports @ Mellieha Malta.
