The Malta Motorsport Federation held its Annual General Meeting, on Tuesday at Radisson Blu Resort, St. Julian’s during which, Tonio Cini , right, was re-elected President for his second three-year term.

Cini, who was elected President in 2008, was not contested.

During the AGM, the MMF members discussed the previous year’s work, current and future plans.

The main issues facing the Federation include the setting up of a race track for karting and bikes, training of both officials and young drivers, national technical regulations and the building of a multipurpose track.

Cini thanked all members and the executive council for their support during these past three years and said he was looking forward to keep on working together for the benefit of the Sport.
