Zejtun returned to winning ways yesterday beating Rabat Ajax by the odd goal in five.

Rabat took a deserved lead on 27 minutes when Adam Smeir was floored inside the area and Wilson Caushi scored from the spot.

Zejtun equalised just before the break through another penalty taken by defender Charlo Magro.

In the second half Zejtun had the edge over their opponents with new signing Elzaredi leaving a very good impression.

Gers Delia scored a beauty on 54 minutes and Kenneth Abela made it three on 70 minutes for Zejtun.

In stoppage time substitute Justin Felice pulled one back for Rabat, but it was a little too late for Rabat.

This victory puts Zejtun back on track among the promotion aspirants, as they are now only two points behind the same Rabat, who remain in second place.
