The Bank of Valletta football team has once again proved itself in this year’s KPMG Banca Cup by winning the title for the third consecutive year. Various financial institutions participate in this annual event which is organised by KPMG. The BOV team won the semifinal game against the Mediterranean Bank with the score of 2-0. The final game, played between BOV and Banif Bank was a very intense match which ended 2-2. A penalty shoot-out determined the final result of the match with the BOV team emerging winners with a final score of 6-5.
