Today’s Sports Programmes on the local TV stations

Malta Independent Sunday, 11 December 2011, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

Today’s edition of TVM’s sole sports programme Kontrattakk will include a special feature on Malta’s international striker Daniel Bogdanovic who is currently on the books of Npower Championship side Blackpool FC.

Even though Bogdanovic was lately not making it in the final 16 man squad selection for the Orange side, he is still training with commitment so that he will be prepared both physically and mentally for the possibility of a one off inclusion in the near future.

Meanwhile, the Malta FA has confirmed the participation of its president, Norman Darmanin Demajo, for a special edition next Sunday. The MFA boss will be the sole guest in the programme and will be answering questions from anchorman Sandro Micallef.

Kontrattakk is broadcast every Sunday at 9.45pm.

Replay on Net TV this evening will feature the last Bank of Valletta Premier League fixtures for 2011 and Etienne Barbara’s US pursuits.

Among the guests are Valletta’s mentor Jesmond Zerafa, Marsaxlokk new supremo Renato Attard and Sliema’s hard-working president Keith Perry. The show will also include the usual rumours corner ‘Rajna u Smajna’. Amongst the main ingredients is a feature orchestrated by Christian Micallef relating to Etienne Barbara’s US pursuits.

During today’s programme more information will be divulged regarding this year’s Gowl Għall-iStrina which is being organised by the Malta Football Association, Replay (Net Television) and L-Argument (One Television).

L-Argument on One TV will be taking a look at the past year and rekindles the memories it has brought with it.

In local football one such memory is Valletta winning their 20th premier league title. L-Argument will take us back to memory lane with a special feature on Valletta’s celebrations in winning their 20th league title.

But the main topic this weekend will still be the Premier League where televiewers may also watch highlights of the weekend games.
